Book report by Kimiya

Shadow

By Michael  Morpurgo

This story is set in the Afghanistan war.
The characters are Aman, Aman's mum, Matt, Grandpa, Shadow, Uncle Mir, Polly
Matt's parents and soldiers.

It is a moving story about
a boy called  Aman and his mum who live through hard life in their Afghan cave.
One day they set out with a bottle of water,  a crust of bread and Shadow, a dog who mysteriously
appeared outside their cave. To find a safe home and food. But along the way  things go wrong.

I liked the book very much and thought some bits like when the
grandma died were sad.
